A pour-over setup needs three things: a dripper with something to brew into, a kettle you can pour slowly, and cups sized for what you drink. WENSHUO makes each of these in ceramic or stainless steel. This guide compares our drippers, gooseneck kettles, milk pitchers and coffee cups by size, and explains how to look after them.

Dripper and server
Both of our pour-over sets are ceramic. The Pour-over Coffee Set has a petal-edged dripper 10 cm across, a connecting ring that seats it on the server, and a faceted 285 ml server in crème glaze. The Sandflow Pour-Over Pot pairs a conical dripper, 9.5 cm across, with a handled 335 ml server in a sandy, speckled glaze.
Either server holds enough for one large mug or two small cups. The dripper sits on top of the server while the coffee brews; lift it off and pour from the server.

Choosing a gooseneck kettle
A gooseneck spout lets water out in a thin, steady stream, so you can wet the grounds evenly instead of flooding them. Both EIRA kettles are stainless steel with a wooden handle and lid knob, and both can go on a gas hob or an induction cooktop.
- EIRA Mist, 650 ml. Enough water for one or two cups, plus some to rinse the filter. The smaller size is lighter to hold while pouring.
- EIRA Conical, 1,300 ml. For brewing several cups at once, or for a kettle that also boils water for tea.

Brewing one cup
- Bring water to the boil in the kettle and let it rest for a moment.
- Put a paper filter in the dripper, set the dripper on the server and pour a little hot water through to rinse the filter and warm the server. Discard that water.
- Add medium-fine ground coffee. Pour just enough water to wet all the grounds and wait about 30 seconds.
- Pour the rest slowly in small circles, keeping the water level steady, until the server holds the amount you want.
- Lift off the dripper and pour into a warmed cup.
Cups and milk
For black filter coffee, a cup of 180–250 ml is usually enough. For milk drinks, choose a larger cup: the Elva (290 ml) or the Clef (330 ml). Several of our coffee cups come with something to set them on: the Butter Coffee Mug and the Elva come with a saucer, the Clef with an irregular tray, and the Sandflow Coffee Cup Set with a rectangular tray and spoon.
The Elva is double-wall 304 stainless steel, so it keeps coffee warm for longer and stays comfortable to hold. Our other coffee cups are ceramic. For more stainless steel cups, plates and kettles, see our stainless steel tableware guide.
The MERO Milk Frothing Pitcher has a pointed spout for pouring latte art and comes in 350 ml and 600 ml. The 350 ml size suits one or two drinks.

Care
- Ceramic drippers, servers and cups can go in the dishwasher. Do not put them directly on a flame or hob; they are for brewing and serving hot coffee.
- Stainless steel kettles can be heated on gas or induction. Keep the wooden handle and knob away from the flame, and dry the kettle after use.
- Wooden parts should be washed by hand and left to dry.
- Stainless steel cups and pitchers can go in the dishwasher. Use a soft sponge rather than steel wool to keep the finish even.
