Every rug in the WENSHUO collection is an accent size — from about 70 × 42 cm (27.6 × 16.5 in) up to 150 × 50 cm (59 × 19.7 in), plus two round rugs at 75 cm and 120 cm across. The easiest way to choose is to start with where your feet land: beside the bed, in front of the sink, at the door or under a reading chair. Then match that spot to a length.

The two most common sizes in the collection are 125 × 45 cm, mostly in surfboard and other free-form outlines, and 75 × 45 cm, mostly small rectangles.
How to measure the spot
- Beside the bed: stand where you step out and measure the floor in front of you. A 75 cm rug covers that landing spot. For a long side of a single bed, look at 110–125 cm and lay the rug parallel to the frame.
- At the sink or counter: measure the length of the counter you actually stand at. A runner a little shorter than that run keeps the ends out of the walkway.
- At a door: open the door over the spot first. If the door has to sweep across the rug, check that there is room under it before you choose a thicker pile.
- Around the edges: leave a strip of floor visible on every side. A small rug looks intentional when it sits inside the space rather than touching the walls.
Choosing a shape
- Rectangles and runners line up with furniture edges and work best in narrow spaces such as hallways and kitchens.
- Ovals and surfboard outlines have no corners to catch a foot, which suits the side of a bed.
- Round rugs sit well under a single chair or in a corner, where they hold one piece of furniture together.
- Animal and free-form shapes read as one playful accent. Give them open floor so the outline stays visible.
Materials and backing
Most WENSHUO rugs are tufted. The product pages list the material as tufted polyester pile, polyester or textile, and one rug — the Seasalt Brown Checked Carpet — as cotton. The Boxed Plush Rug has the deepest stated pile, at 0.7 in (about 1.8 cm).
About two dozen of the tufted rugs, including the Animal Track, Dotty and Luno series, have a TPR anti-slip backing. On wood or tile floors, start with those. For rugs without a stated backing, a separate rug pad helps keep them in place.
Washing
According to our product specifications, these rugs are machine washable:
- Animal Track paw rugs (leopard, tiger, fox, brown bear, gray wolf)
- Dotty polka dot surfboard and square rugs
- Voidline surfboard rugs, Luno, Lomi and Lomi Seabird rugs
- SEE SEA Ocean Print Rug – Runner and Cat Welcome Rug
- Boxed Plush Rug (machine washable and tumble dryable)

Do you sell large area rugs for a living room?
Not at the moment. Our rugs range from about 70 × 42 cm to 150 × 50 cm, and the largest round rug is 120 cm across. They are made as accent rugs for the side of a bed, a doorway, a kitchen counter or a reading corner.
What size rug goes beside a bed?
A 75 × 45 cm rug covers the spot where you step out. To run along most of a single bed, choose 110–125 × 45 cm.
What size works in front of a kitchen sink?

Will the rug slip on a wood or tile floor?
